What We Offer
This Sprint
Program Cards — Home Page
Each of the six program cards was trimmed from two paragraphs to a single clear sentence, making them faster to scan without losing meaning.
What We Built
Sprint Changes Across the Site
Changes This Sprint
Backend — PythonURI Integration
Replaced hardcoded URLs with PythonURI on all pages that call the backend, including login and the blog page.
Blog & Team Page
Added profile photo upload using the pfp API so members can personalize their team presence directly from the page.
Community Garden
Sprite selection is now saved to the database and restored on login. The garden displays every member's chosen sprite, and switching accounts correctly loads the right one.
Contact Page
Removed duplicate name and email fields. Messages submitted through the form are now saved to the backend.
Program Finder — Full Redesign
Replaced the 7-question quiz with three interactive mechanics: drag sliders mapping program axes, a bucket toss where users claim statements that resonate, and a card sort for ranking desired outcomes by priority. The scoring engine was rewritten to handle continuous values and rank weighting.
